When the Shots Rang Out

Responding units worked to disperse the crowd by surrounding the park and announcing over their public address systems telling the assembled crowd to disperse at once. Around 15 minutes were allowed for individuals to vacate.

Evidence at the Scene

Crime scene investigators found more spent casings on the Cottage Way roadway. Projectile impacts were also found in the metal fencing alongside the Home Depot.
